Copywork Strategy for your young ones

And we’ve found the most effective have four characteristics:

1 - SHORT

Copywork exercises need to be concise and focused.

Because it's about quality not quantity … And they’re definitely a lot quicker to prepare.

2 - ACTIONABLE

Ideally, a copywork task needs to be step-by-step.

Why?

So the copywork is useful and practical.

3 - GOAL-DRIVEN

The purpose of copywork is to enhance language arts skills.

Right?

Which is why you don’t want your copywork to be aimless.

But that doesn’t mean your copywork shouldn’t have a goal.

So when I say copywork should be goal-driven…

What I mean is that it should break down each step into manageable, digestible pieces.

4 - SIMPLE

Copywork should be simple enough to make sense.

The bottom line is this…

You want your copywork exercises to be short, actionable, goal-driven, and simple.

And that’s so your child builds confidence in themselves and in the process.
